OUR MISSION

PPIRA's mission is to support and inspire educators in the Pikes Peak region by providing a variety of professional activities to promote literacy and lifelong learning.  We model exemplary literacy practices to support parents in our community through active engagement with their children.  We also lend support to community outreach groups with the charge of nurturing young people, and add literacy resources to existing shelters and agencies.  PPIRA extends its resources to the numerous districts in our council to support their literacy endeavors through the synergy of strong collaboration.
